Ekaterina Solod
Born on July 24, 1985 in Korenovsk, Krasnodar Territory.
She went through the traditional path of an artist - an art studio, an art school, a university. Since 2000 he has been living and working in Krasnodar.
After graduating from the Krasnodar Art School, she worked in a design bureau, combining work and study at the Kuban State University at the Faculty of Art and Graphics.
In 2019, she decided to focus directly on her work and since then she has been actively engaged in creative and exhibition activities.
The artist's creative language began its transformation with classical still lifes, flowers and landscapes, and comes together into his own image of a certain utopian world — through sketchy lightness, more flat solutions, abstract realism and an inner desire for something unattainably beautiful.
Immersing himself in the real world through tactile, visual, auditory and psychological sensations, the artist builds his own ideal world, in which there is a lot of light, warmth, air, energy of movement, spontaneous lightness with a note of a nagging feeling of light longing for something unattainably beautiful. A world in which there is no place for gloom and gloomy images of dystopia. A world in which, immersing yourself, you rest your soul, look, feelings, the reality that recharges it.
The author's works are a conversation with his "I", which becomes a bridge to the point of inner balance. For the author, creativity is a way to herself in the reality around her.
The artist's goal is to immerse the viewer in the moment "here and now" and get a new experience of attunement with himself.
She is a participant in more than 55 group exhibitions and the author of 3 solo exhibitions.
