Alena Chernykh

Alena Chernykh is a contemporary Russian artist, designer, sculptor, born on June 3, 1984 in Rostov-on-Don. Member of the Union of Artists since 2024, Department of Contemporary Art. She works in the author's technique of collage painting on canvas, which combines modern technologies and the ancient Japanese art of collage. This multi-stage technique includes working with various textures and colors, based on thin Japanese paper, the visual layers of which create the illusion of painting on canvas. She received a diploma from the Faculty of Art and Graphics of the Rostov-on-Don State Pedagogical University (Department of Fine Arts), 2005
